Ols Sulehay is a riot of these flowers at the moment and it is one of the best places for woodland birds.

Have always wanted to see Wood Anemones. They are one of the species that identify a wood as being ancient. I will have to go out for a walk in my local wood! Thanks for posting this. Jane
