They do say (and I have no reason to doubt them, whoever they are) that Britain gets more tornados than any other country. You don't see them like this very often though. Hope it didn't cause any damage or injury.
Of course the US has more overall but the UK has more per sqkm. In fact it appears The Netherlands has the most: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tornado_climatology
This tornado may only just have touched the ground so may not even have been a tornado. If it didn't it was a funnel cloud.

Actually, the U.S. gets more tornadoes each year than any other country, especially in Tornado Alley.
But, Wow!, what a great shot. I do hope no one was hurt.
